A beautiful cherry bowl with a graceful profile, accented by mineralizations of the source tree.

A curly maple cutting board, shining with chatoyance.  So beautiful I can’t bear to cut on it.

Christmas tree ornaments. Made from recycled maple with sapele Celtic knots.

A custom-made bookcase with pegged side rails, made of oak with walnut accents.  Our dog is not a fan of reading but enjoys fine woodwork.

A larger hand-turned Christmas tree ornament made from maple with a walnut Celtic knot. Upcycled wood and hand-crafted beauty. Each is unique.

Two maple kitchen utensils: a large knife and a spatula. Both are on a diamond-patterned cutting board lying on a piece of marble in the sunlight.

I’ve been working on kitchen utensils.  These are all made of maple wood, except the cutting board accents which are walnut.  The cutting board is end-grain for greater durability.  All work well and are water resistant (but not for dishwashers).
